Mera Peak Climb located on the hidden valley of Inkhu and Hongu areas on the eastern end of Khumbu and south of Mt. Everest close to Baruntse peak and on route Mt. Makalu, truly a fascinating trek and climb of Mera Peak.
Mera Peak one of the highest trekking peaks in Himalaya region with an altitude of 6,461 m and 21, 1907 ft high, classified as PD taken from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing grading system which is commonly used worldwide on this type of alpine adventure climb.
A straight forward climb with less technical difficulty, however one must be in good physical shapes on this wonderful Mera Peak climb.
Our journey begins with sweeping scenic flight to Lukla, a Sherpa town with a busy airstrip from Lukla walk leads towards a high passes of Zatwar-la over Kalo Himal and Naulekh rocky ridges to enter a hidden Inkhu valley, where trekkers seldom venture in this isolated and perfect wilderness of green tall pines-fir and rhododendron tree lines, as the walk progress soon leaving the tree lines for barren and arid terrain of moraine and ice at Mera Peak base camp.
With much acclimatization and rest with full preparation on route Mera Peak base camp, our real adventure takes you to the top summit of Mera Peak offering glorious panorama of surrounding peaks including Mt. Everest-Lhotse-Makalu-Baruntse and as far to Kanchenjunga towards east horizon.
