Day 01 Pick up in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel.

Day 02 Kathmandu with sightseeing tour, trek briefing and preparations.
Morning after breakfast at given time for sightseeing tour, our city guides will meet you at the hotel for interesting sightseeing tour leading you in the heart of Kathmandu at old Durbar (palace) square of great historical importance includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.
Tour leads to famous landmark of Nepal at Swayambhunath Stupa of more than 2,500 years old a Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa with all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.
Afternoon visit holy Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath adorned with silver doors and golden tiers roofed pagoda a popular and famous temple where thousands of pilgrims visits every year in the month of February on Shiva Rartri (Lord Shiva birth anniversary). From Pashupatinath a short drive to Bouddhanath with Asia’s largest domed Stupa with four cardinals eyes of Buddha surrounded with prayer wheels and small market with interesting stores, shops and restaurants, the place is also known as Little Tibet due to strong hold of Tibetan influenced tribe and peoples.
After an interesting and exciting tour of world heritage sites return back to hotel for Frozen Lake Gosainkund Trekking preparation and last minute briefing from our guides and staff.

Day 03 Drive to Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs.
Morning with an exciting overland drive on the main highway of Kathmandu to Dhunche- highway, leading through Himalayan foothills, on reaching at Trisuli Bazaar a warm sub-tropical area, and then our journey continues towards uphill on long winding road towards cooler area past many farm villages and town to reach at Dhunche for first overnights at the height of 1,950 m. Headquarter and main town of Rasuwa district of Langtang area where Langtang National Park begins.

Day 04 Trek to Sing Gompa or Chandanbari at 3,254 m - 05 hrs.
Our first day walk from Dhunche leads to a short downhill on winding trail through terraced farm fields and villages, from a Riverside after crossing a small bridge climb leads into cool and lovely coniferous forested area filled with tall rhododendron-magnolia-oaks-pines and fir tree lines, and past some cow herders shelters with grazing pastures.
Climb continues and finally reaching a ridge top at Sing Gompa also called Chandanbari as this place at one time filled with sandal wood trees, at Sing Gompa after checking into a nice and cozy lodge, afternoon free visit the local small cheese factory and its old monastery located on top of this small village.

Day 05 Trek to Gosainkund 4,381 m - 05 hrs.
Walk today offers more views of snow clad peaks of Langtang to the north and Ganesh-Himal range towards north west along with Manaslu and Annapurna range, as the path leads with gradual up for an hour entering oaks, pines and rhododendron forest, after a brief stops with grand views, walk continues on uphill trail leaving tree lines and green vegetation behind for dwarf rhododendron, juniper and alpine shrubs bushes.
The path unwinds uphill passing through few teahouses at Laurabina, means a place with walking sticks, (on auspicious time in August with full moon as per the Nepali Luna calendar, the pilgrims visits Gosainkund pond for ritual bathe and dip belief it delivers one into paradise and drink of its holy water relinquishes the sins of a hundred lifetimes) Hindu pilgrims leaves their walking stick here so the name Laurabina.
From here short descend and up reaching across Saraswati and Bhairab kund after a small climb brings you to our overnight stop at Gosainkund near its pristine pond. Here you can see lots of traces left behind by the pilgrims.

Day 06 At Gosainkund for local excursion.
At Gosainkund with acclimatization and free day for short hike around the holy glacial pond, Gosainkund one of most sacred and pilgrimage place, where great festival observed every year at Janai Purnima (Full Moon) in the month of August, the exact dates as per Hindu Lunar calendar, where mass numbers of Hindu and Buddhists pilgrims throng the lake for a holy bathe. According to popular belief, the huge rock at the center of the lake is the remains of a Shiva temple.

Day 07 Trek to Ghopte Odar 3,566m via Gosainkund pass or Laurabina-La 4,609 m.
From Gosainkund a gradual walk on a small path along pond, and then climb near a small creek in between rocks and boulders, as the walk leads close to a small pond of Surjakund the trail here is more gradual with winding up to Gosainkund pass or East Laurabina La the highest spot of the adventure.
After the top, a long descend to Phedi (bottom) at 3,694 m few teahouses, a possible lunch stop and then our journey continues east towards Helambu region and back into green vegetations of junipers, rhododendron and then reaching at Ghopte (meaning overhanging rocks) for overnight stop.

Day 08 Trek to Kutumsang 2,445m via - 06 hrs.
After walking around complete wilderness, walk from here trails joins of Helambu and Kathmandu; trek is pleasant into forest for an hour, with an hour uphill to Tharepati 3,597m.
A nice spot situated on a ridge overlooking views of peaks with Jugal Himal range and Ganesh-Manaslu towards west.
From here descent to Mangeghot, a nice place with grassy field, with an Nepal Army Barrack from here walking back into farm fields and to Kutumsang for overnight stop, this village with Sherpa, Hyalmo and Tamang hill tribes.

Day 09 Trek to Chisopani 2,195m via Gul Bhanjyang 2,125m - 07 hrs.
Today a long day walk to scenic Chisopani, as the morning leads on winding path with few ups and downhill walks passing many rural farm areas and villages to reach at Gul-Bhanjyang located on a ridge top. After a refreshing break continues walk on nice and pleasant trail past farm villages to reach at a nice Pati Bhanjayang village, from this village with short climb to our last overnight stop at Chisopani, a nice and scenic small village close to northern hill of Kathmandu Valley rim.
A picturesque spot rewards you with stunning sunrise views over range of peaks from Jugal Himal range towards north east and Ganesh Himal-Manaslu and Annapurna range towards west.

Day 10 Walk to Sundarijal 1,380m and drive to Kathmandu.
Our last day of this wonderful adventure as the morning walk leads into lovely forest and farmlands after a few hours of gradual walk heading at the ridge top of Burlang and Chepu Bhanjyang at 2,438 m high with views of Kathmandu Valley, from here descend to Sundarijal (meaning beautiful water) a lovely spot with cool patch of forest with monkeys and fresh streams.
Sundarijal, a small farm town from here drive back to Kathmandu after an enjoyable and great moment on Frozen Lake Gosainkund Trekking, as the drive leads past Jhorpati and Bouddhanath following the busy city road for some times and then back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
Afternoon free at leisure for shopping souvenirs, evening farewell group dinner in nice Nepalese restaurants with Folk culture programs as entertainment.

Day 11 International Departure for Homeward bound.
Last day in Nepal in the land of great Himalayan wonders with fascinating culture, after a memorable time on Frozen Lake Gosainkund Trekking with awesome and wonderful experience, as per your international flight time our staff transfers you to Airport for the flight back home or to respective countries.
